NotesThe Parliament of South Africa was established by the Act of Union of 1910, there are two houses the Senate and the House of Assembly. On the outbreak of World War One the Government of South Africa declared war on Germany and her allies, and invaded German South West Afrcia. There was rebellion in the Transvaal and the Orange Free State.
