Scope and ContentThis is a fragment of the script for the compère (or conférencier) of the Laterndl's third Kleinkunst production "Von Adam bis Adolf". This production premièred at the Laterndl's second base, in Hampstead Concert Studio, 155 Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, London on 3 February 1940. "Von Adam bis Adolf" was composed of ten numbered sketches. The fragment gives the compère's script for the following sketches: 2) ‘Spuk in Salzburg’ by Hugo F Königsgarten, 4) ‘Stimme aus dem 3. Reich’ by Albert Fuchs (fragment), 6) ‘Der Lechner-Edi schaut ins Paradies’ by Jura Soyfer, 7) ‘Der alte Drahrer’ (song) by Johann Sioly and Ludwig Polhammer and 10) ‘Musik auf Reisen’ by Rudolf Spitz and Hans Weigel.
